An experienced neurologist who serves patients through Summit Medical Group, Dr. Eric Cohen will soon work with medical students as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway. Dr. Eric Cohen is proud to join the faculty and looks forward to inspiring an interest in neurology in future physicians for years to come.

Dr. Eric Cohen Selected as a New Jersey Top Doctor in 2009 and 2010

Every year, New Jersey Monthly sets out to help their readers answer this very important question. The publication polls doctors in New Jersey annually, and then recommends physicians who have been selected by their peers as standouts in the field in their annual Top Doctors issue.
In both 2009 and 2010, Dr. Eric Cohen’s peers selected him as one of New Jersey Monthly’s Top Doctors. The 2010 Top Doctors issue featured 647 physicians from across New Jersey in 57 specialties. Dr. Cohen practices neurology and osteopathy with Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. He is also an Attending Neurologist at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Cohen graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and later received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board-certified in neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
